Nathan and I are feeling quite overwhelmed with gratitude at the moment. Here we are…we don’t even have the baby yet…and people are just being so kind to us. Last week we were given meals three days out of the five in the work week. Today there were mystery flowers at our door (we did later find out who they were from), and this week we already have people offering to bring us meals again! I really appreciate it because even though there is no baby yet, pretty much everything tires me out…including making dinner. We’ve had some really yummy meals in the last week or so.
We also feel lots of love and support from our community. I didn’t really want to go to church and have to put on a big smile this morning and say “yes I’m still pregnant” over and over again. But it didn’t feel that way at all. I just felt supported.
So whether you’ve seen us in person, offered us a meal, or sent a positive thought or prayer our way…thank you! It means a lot!
We’re still hoping that baby #2 will make his entrance as soon as possible. But if Wednesday comes and we just get the show on the road anyway…I know I’ll just be happy to hold this baby in my arms instead of in my abdomen!
