Sometimes there’s just nothing quite as good as getting out for some fresh air. It’s not quite as nice outside as was forecasted, but it was nice enough for a family walk. These days Elias likes to walk himself on the family walks. He can’t make it as far as we’d like to go so we go on a small loop with him walking, then go get the stroller and walk the long loop.
I just love how proud he seems when he is walking on his own and pushing his toy around. Everything takes way longer…but it is worth it to let him try and succeed at maneuvering his toy or finding a bird after he hears its call or making it up the hill on the bridge.
Daddy's gentle guidance helps Elias to not run over his own feet.
