Baseball Outside

Elias loves playing “bat and ball.” We had to start keeping his tee, bat, and ball in the car because he loved playing with it so much, and tried to play with it inside. If we had a garage, that would be problem solved, but since we don’t, we had to settle for keeping it in the car. Luckily the car is on the way to the grass where he plays.

Last night, Elias played “bat and ball” with his Daddy, but I had to leave so the car was not there when they were done playing. Nathan brought everything inside. This morning after breakfast, I told Elias that I was going to work on laundry and he could play with his toys. So…I got the laundry started, and a few minutes later came back out to find Elias playing with his toys….

Oh dear. Luckily he had not managed to do any damage yet. He was so happy and proud of himself that I just had to snap a picture. But then I had to explain to him yet again that bat and ball is an outside toy even though it was inside today. He got a little upset when I had to put the bat and the ball inside the laundry closet out of reach, but he’ll survive. We play with it outside almost every day.
