I took Elias to the Children’s Museum a few weeks ago for the first time after a long summer hiatus. He loved it so much, that we just had to go back this week too. It was amazing to see how much our experience there has changed just in a few months. He used to be too short to see over any of the water troughs in the water works room, but now he can play at any he chooses. We used to stick mostly to the baby room, but we didn’t even go in there during either of our recent visits. He can climb the rock wall on his own now. He even had fun in the dig pit! He even notices a lot more than before. There is a crocodile and a sea serpent (Elias called both of them crocodiles) in the opening hallway that he never paid any attention to before, but has thoroughly enjoyed climbing on now.
