Elias got to dye Easter eggs for the first time this year. He had a lot of fun doing the first six eggs. He wanted to do one of each color. But he lost interest pretty quickly. I’m glad he got the fun experience…but I think this activity will be better suited for him when he is a few years older! He mostly wanted to spoon the eggs in an out of the dye. I protected my counters with some waxed paper, but the splashes he produced by looking at the eggs made a big mess! It was hard for me to just let go and have fun, but I was determined to let him have the experience rather than taking over.
