It’s no secret that we love baseball in this family. Elias has been hitting balls since he was 18 months old or so. It’s finally time for organized baseball!
We signed Elias up for a t-ball league through Reedville baseball. He has had three practices so far, and one of them was cut short due to a rain storm. His first game will be in a week or so.
It has been fun seeing Elias learn some of the fielding skills he has never gotten to try before now. He’s been good at batting for a long time, but he’s been stopping grounders, playing catch, and learning fundamentals of a few different positions on the field.
Here’s our little t-ball player getting ready for his first practice. His smile is kind of goofy but I made him stop in the middle of putting on his shoes and he wasn’t too keen on getting his picture taken.
