I don’t mean to brag, but yesterday I did cut down two Christmas by hand and then set both of them up. I’m kind of good at cutting down trees and then propping them up in stands. In my youth for several years I headed out with some folks from my church to cut and stand Christmas trees en masse.
Kimberly and I purchased some of those fancy LED Christmas lights this year. Last year we couldn’t get any, because they were out of stock. This year we bought them in September. They are really good looking. The blues really pop. Hopefully our electric bill will go down as a bonus.
Kimberly and I like the tree to be jam-packed with ornaments. We’ve inherited a lot of ornaments, and been given many along the way. Our tree is by no means stylish. But it is our family tree, and that is how we like it.
