Elias is 8 months old today. We are so proud of him. Today was special because Nathan had the day off so we got to be together as a family for an extra day. We wanted to take it easy so we mostly hung around home, but we did go up to the rose garden for a little bit. The roses aren’t blooming yet, and it is not really stroller friendly so we decided to go back for a longer trip later in June. Here are some pictures of Elias on his 8 month day.
- Elias ate some pears for lunch today. He decided that he wanted to try to feed himself. He has a little trouble finding his mouth with the spoon, but got some food in which is good!
- Elias is so good at sitting up now. He is a pro.
- It is actually getting a little difficult to get pictures of Elias. He loves to try to get the camera from me. Here he is crawling and hoping to catch it!
- Elias loves this book that grandpa and grandma Bartle brought back from Hawaii. It teaches him to count to ten in English and Hawaiian!
- Daddy looks on as Elias tries to make as big of a mess as possible during play time.
- Daddy loves Elias. Elias is tasting a good book of poetry.
- Elias all ready for a walk to the park. He actually fell asleep so he missed the chance to go on the swings, but it was some much needed shut-eye.
- Here is Elias…his first time in the big tub! He also got to play with his boat bath toys for the first time. He had a great time splashing around.
It sounds like Elias had a great 8 month birthday! He is making such great progress! We are so proud of him.
