My brother recently accepted a position as a helicopter tour pilot at the Grand Canyon. He will be leaving tomorrow for Arizona for two weeks of training, and then his new job. We will miss him lots, but he works 7 days on, 7 days off, so we will still be able to see him on some of his off weeks.
On Sunday, we had a surprise congratulations/farewell party for Uncle Greg. We had good food and good friends helping us to celebrate. We even showered him with a few gifts for living on his own.
Elias will miss playing with his Uncle Greg. His favorites are when Uncle Greg carries him around in the Duplo bucket and when Uncle Greg blows “music” in glass soda bottles.
